Julie Carpenter
Julie Carpenter is an emerging artist living in the coastal village of Smiths Lake, NSW. It was moving to this area of New South Wales that convinced her to give up fulltime employment and dedicate herself to concentrate on an art career.

Predominately self-taught she has enhanced her skill set by attending workshops and short courses and completing a Diploma in Visual Art in 2014.

Julie rarely plans her work relying on her instinctive ability and compassion to create the somewhat moving works on show this exhibition.

Her love and desire to help those that are in less favourable circumstances is what this exhibition is about.

All the proceeds from the sale of Julies work will go to the ASPECA Orphanage- Kampot Cambodia.

“Ever since I can remember I have loved to draw, paint and read; all of which are solitary pastimes that take you to ‘other worlds’. What probably started as a form of escapism has morphed into my lifetime’s passionate pursuit. “
